Analogue

Analogue watches indicate the time by  two or more hands pointing to numbers or characters arranged around the dial to represent the hours, minutes and seconds. Dials can be with or without divisions. In some cases an alphanumeric display, that is to say one using digits or letters may be provided and will be observable through a small aperture in the dial.
