Alarm Clock

An alarm clock or watch is one fitted with a system or device that can be made to sound at the time set in advance. The time can be fixed mechanically or in modern clocks digitally. In more recent systems the clock can be made to mimic the sunrise with a gradual increase in light. Alarm clocks can be linked to a radio or cd player or can even be made to produce tea or coffee at the required time.
