The pilot’s need for minimal distraction whilst in command, enhanced legibility forms the foundation of the Oris Big Crown ProPilot Day Date’s unique design. The 45mm wide multi-piece stainless steel case, houses the Oris self-winding mechanical movement Cal. 752, based on Sellita SW220-1 which beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a power reserve of 38 hours. A movement that guarantees reliability and precision. The watch is also water-resistant to 100 metres/330 feet.
The screwed case-back features a see-through sapphire crystal. On top we find a sapphire crystal, which is domed on both sides and with anti-reflective coating inside protecting the lovely black dial. The dial comes with printed Arabic numerals filled with eye-catching Super-LumiNova, same thing goes with the large hour hands, minutes and it also features a bold white-on-black double enlarged display at 3 o’clock showing the day and date for better readability.
